Return from NAMM

I have made the return trip to Seattle and am already missing the warm weather and CA sunshine, walking along Venice Beach in January with no coat on, well it spoils you quick! I was only gone for 10 days and it was a bit of a shock to come back to the cold 30 degree Seattle weather (of which I don’t usually complain about because I grew up in freezing below zero temps of North Dakota!)  but it’s good to be home and back to work.  I enjoyed my first NAMM experience, met lots of great people, enjoyed live music and I did well with my booth as a first timer.  Things went smoothly there were a few hiccups in getting it set up but luckily there was a home depot nearby and I was able to improvise.  I learned a lot and really enjoyed connecting with so many other music loving people and getting to speak to them face to face.  I didn’t get to wander the aisles too much since I was working my strap booth, but I did manage to sneak up to the PRS room on the second floor to admire the beautiful guitars, and I saw one of the Misfits walk by in full costume after he was done with an autograph signing session.
