I finished and released instrumental rock song Get Closer […] Jeremy Hepp July 20, 2017 at 10:40 pm - Reply The cool thing is that you now have 3 electric guitar instrumentals that all sound completely different. You should think about putting together a 5 song EP and include your piano version of “Tell Me ” with strings and maybe one of your cover tunes. I liked “Skyfall” the best of all your covers , that song works well as an instrumental, and allows your guitar leads to soar. You could sell them at your performances and maybe send some out to radio stations and record labels. I wish some of the higher level music industry connections I have could be of use to you, but it is a completely different genre, and I no longer work in that genre myself. Overall, it looks like people are responding well to your new composition. Violet Heart July 21, 2017 at 10:03 am - Reply I do want to make a CD, I wonder how many people would be interested in this day and age.. but I think an album would certainly be good. I am getting there I have more song ideas brewing that would complete it nicely. I love the Skyfall too it is one of my fav covers as well 🙂 Thanks for the ideas! Jeremy Hepp July 21, 2017 at 6:29 pm - Reply I think it’s great you have more song ideas in the works, and a lot of people would probably still be interested in a CD ( especially for rocking out in the car ). Instrumental CD’s have a certain flow to them and can be quite relaxing, so that would be a source of the appeal to many . Kinda funny, but ever since I have discovered your music online, I have learned a lot from you in terms of online promotion. I still have a long way to go, and may need to hire someone to do it professionally for me . Overall, it looks like we both may be learning things from each other …..lol….. Violet Heart July 21, 2017 at 7:06 pm - Reply Yeah i think that is the only time i use CD’s is in my car but I have an older car Idk i would guess most people plug their phones in or use bluetooth now for music, maybe I will find a way to do a small run or made to order CD’s. I am glad you are learning from me haha I am not an expert by any means but I am always trying different things and don’t give up! You can do it yourself if you have the time and you take such beautiful photographs and you have your music seems like you have a wealth of content to share. Any way you slice it though it’s still hard to make a living as an artist. 🙁 I find online is a great tool for people like us that are not playing big tours that get a lot of exposure though! Happy we have that available to us or no one would ever hear our music! Alan Sobel July 17, 2017 at 9:40 pm - Reply Love it my friend, you are so talented. I love the way you play and your guitar straps as well. Hope life is treating you well. Violet Heart July 17, 2017 at 9:45 pm - Reply Thanks Alan! Good to hear from you, i am doing well, and keeping the music going 😀 Thanks for checking out my new song and straps! Take care, Violet brian July 15, 2017 at 2:53 am - Reply hard rockin and groovin – deep strong rocking goodness. Especially like the hard edge, not wimpy – style rock and roll. Big and confident presence. reminds me of classic rock or heavy grunge. very nice violet! Lots of classic vibe there – gives me a sense of blackmore, page, or one of the greats. I think this is your best jam yet – really showcases the skills. Hope all is well. – brian Violet Heart July 15, 2017 at 3:17 am - Reply Hey good to hear from you! Thanks, you really nailed it my influences going back to childhood were definitely classic and grunge rock all the way. Love all that stuff! I am doing well working hard, and also finding the time and energy to keep the music going so that makes for a good life 🙂 Hope all is well with you too, Thanks for stopping in and checking out the new video I really appreciate it! brian July 15, 2017 at 10:08 pm - Reply as usual – you da best! – really like the train in the background – gives me a real hankering – for you guessed it ‘train kept a rollin’. would love to hear you cover that one someday! get some aerosmith groove going on! cheers! -brian Eric Lange July 14, 2017 at 2:50 pm - Reply Wow Vi Incredible composition!!!! I LOVE IT! It’s beautifully melodic, heavy and light at the same time (you know what I mean). Really great phrasing, tempo, clean playing, and wonderful BIG tone. For me this was like a glass of Liebfraumilch on a hot day. Cool, refined, and refreshing. Like a truly great film you are watching for the first time and are really enjoying you are sad when it is over….you just wish it would keep going longer. Great job! Could be a hit, well worth the wait! Congrats!….BTW very, very, nice strap you have there! Violet Heart July 14, 2017 at 10:26 pm - Reply Thanks Eric! I appreciate the feedback, glad you enjoyed the new rock song. And Thank YOU for ordering a strap you are now a part of the Axe Leather family 🙂 Making those straps contributed to me being able to get this song mixed, mastered and wrapped up to completion so big thanks I hope you like your snakeskin cowboy rock n roll strap it should be arriving tomorrow! Next up I am working on the rock solo song that you heard on youtube awhile ago it was just a clip but I’m doing the whole song now. Should be a good one! Eric July 14, 2017 at 11:47 pm - Reply Looking forward to receiving the awesome strap you made!
