That was pretty awesome! I love your guitar playing and you’d love my lyrics and singing.
Violet your playing is brilliant with beautiful phrasing and perfect timing your original compositions are full of spirit ,, soul, and passion…the whole emotional palette Your covers are delightfully well executed and it is easy for me to see that when you are playing you actually become the music. Your talent is HUGE and I think you should be better known nationwide. I stumbled upon “sister slash” while searching youtube for a video showing how to play “sweet child of mine and have been coming back ever since, would love to see you play a cover of Sweet Jane from Rock and Roll Animal and the beautiful intro toThe Kinks Celluloid Heroes from the live album”.I bet you could really crank them out great! Keep on rockin and thank you!. Eric
Hi Eric, thank you so much for your kind words. I’m glad you discovered my youtube, it’s nice to hear from others that are passionate about rock music. I’m giving Sweet Jane a listen now, I had not heard it before so thanks for the suggestions. I will keep on rocking always, you too my friend, take care.

How did you like it Violet, kinda catchy and really rocks doesn’t it? Hard to believe it was recorded 42 years ago. Lou Reed and The Velvet Underground were not a huge commercial success but their music was very influential to the late 60’s and the 70’s music scene. Sweet Jane is considered an iconic song with the version from the album Rock N Roll Animal thought to be extra special. Guitarists Steve Hunter and Dick Wagner share the gorgeous lead work. From what i’ve seen I believe “Sister Slash” could handle both parts and have a hell of a lot of fun doing it! I hope to hear it thundering though your Marshall stack someday! I saw your great cover of Purple Haze a long while back but noticed its not listed anymore, I thought it was very well done. Jimmy is the man! You do the blues so so well have you considered doing a cover of Red House? I subscribed on youtube and on your website and am looking forward to hearing about new music from you. Rock on! Eric
I liked it, was a great song, has a classic rock feel to it (which I love), and that long instrumental guitar solo intro was cool I almost thought it was an instrumental guitar piece for a minute then the vocals came in halfway through the song. I love Hendrix too but it’s difficult to get cover videos of his music on YouTube due to copyright owners, Purple Haze got blocked so.. maybe I’ll see if there is a way to upload it to my site! I learned Little Wing not too long ago, haven’t played Red House yet but it’s a good one too!
