New Song!

It’s been awhile since I updated my blog!  I had a rough end to last year I became very anemic.  I’m doing A LOT better now, although still not completely out of the woods yet.  A few people have asked about how things are going so I’ll update here.  Despite iron infusions and supplementation my levels rose and then fell again, but thankfully not as low as they were before, so things have improved in my daily life.  But now the goal is to find the source of the iron loss before doing any more costly iron infusions.  It’s been sort of like trying to fill a bucket with a hole in it.  I’m feeling optimistic at this point though that we are getting close.  The GI tract was screened last week with an endoscopy/colonoscopy.  The drs are finally investigating to find the root cause, which took awhile for them to do.  The medical system can be a bit frustrating at times.  On to more positive news!  I finished recording a new instrumental rock guitar song!  Not sure what the name will be yet and still pondering video ideas?!  But it is an upbeat rock song similar feel to Get Closer.  Can’t wait to release this one this summer.  In other big news, I will be at the Tacoma Guitar Festival in a few weeks April 21-22nd with my Axe Leather Guitar straps, come check them out!

Iron Infusions? WTF? Why isn’t your body holding onto the iron? Did the doctors tell you that? Maybe you have a magnesium deficiency which is interfering with the absorption and distribution of iron. Maybe also part of your fatigue is due to a lack of iodine in your diet. Some things for you to consider =

You’ll notice that Dr. Brownstein says that lack of Iodine is the main cause of fatigue in 95% of the patients who complain about being run down and exhausted. Joanne Brophy shows just how much the body really needs Iodine with her case studies of the Japanese and their inclusion of seaweed and kelp in their daily diet. Dr. Sircus describes why it doesn’t matter how much Iron you’re feeding your body if it lacks the proper amount of Magnesium. Esther Crain explains that it;s possible that you’re one of the many women who have heavy menstrual cycles, and that could be a leading factor. Did the doctors explain all of this to you, and put you on a diet of proper supplements so that your levels remain high? I’m guessing they didn’t have a clue as to why your iron levels dropped and kept dropping. Hope this helps. –Ray

Thank you Ray! I’ll look through the links you sent. They didn’t look into or tell me for quite some time WHY this was happening. It took 8 months and being passed around to 5 different doctors for them to actually look into the issue at hand. They have me on a progesterin medicine now for 90 days which is supposed to stop my cycle altogether to see if that is a cause or not. I go again to get blood tests tomorrow and then follow up with the GI clinic Tuesday I guess they found and removed a polyp from the colon not sure if that was causing it but I will ask. It’s been a long road and frustrating to say the least. So THANK YOU for the info I appreciate it!

Oh sure Violet! No problem. We need to help each other out. You can order Iodoral from Amazon as well as the Magnesium. The best form of Magnesium is the Citrate, it’s a more absorbable form for the body to assimilate. This is a great brand:

But it’ good to have the place that sells the most Edgar Cayce products, which is: The Iodine and Magnesium supplementation will have incredible results for you. Read this testimonial of a woman who has been dealing with iron deficiency for 20 years. In six months her ferritin levels went from 11 to 56! And the doctors were clueless.

Try it. Get back to health as quickly as possible. You don’t think Spud went to a bunch of different doctors as well? That’s twenty years of doctors and speculation. Don’t get caught up in that. Get what you need and get healthy fast!

If you scroll down Dr Sircus’ article to near the end, you’l find this: “Patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) have low red blood cell magnesium.” So it’s not only a deficit of Iodine, but also Magnesium in the blood supply that causes fatigue, as well as damage to the kidneys and other vital organs. But since Magnesium is critical to the proper dissemination of ferrous within your entire body, it’s equally if not more important for someone suffering from a deficiency of iron, like yourself. With the supplementation of Iodine and Magnesium added to your daily Iron supplements, your ferritin levels should go back up to normal in no time and your new energy level will have you back to your old perky, effervescent, confident self! Hope this helps you Violet. 🙂

Thanks Ray, I have been taking a multivitamin daily that has manganese (as manganese citrate) 2 mg 100% and Iodine (as potassium iodide) 150mcg 100% From your studies would you feel this is sufficient?

Hey Violet, I’m glad to see that you are starting to feel better, I have been battling pain in my hands myself lately, it comes and goes. Congratulations on recording your new song, I recorded an old song last week, and got to lay down some electric guitar tracks on it as well. I’m still digging the hybrids, accept it took a while for the guitar to stay in tune . Well hopefully you will sell some straps at the guitar festival ….

Aw man sorry to hear about your hands that’s the worst place to have pain for a musician! Hope you are able to get it healed up quickly so you can write more great stuff. Glad you are liking the hybrid strings they are the best in my opinion strong enough on the low end to play solid rhythm light enough on the high end to do any kinda bending. Looking forward to our video project!! Still pondering on that one too.. 😀
